Pipesology, Inc. (“Pipesology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Pipesology websites, mobile applications, products, services, and related features, including Pipesology PLAY™, PRACTICE™, AI PIPES™, the 10-Minute Challenge™, MY PIPESOLOGY, and other Pipesology services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use Pipesology, we may collect the following categories of information.

ACCOUNT AND PROFILE INFORMATION

When you create or use a Pipesology account, we may collect information such as:

• Name

• Display name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Account identifiers

• Profile information

• Golf-related profile information

• Subscription or membership status

• Equipment and club information you choose to provide

PURCHASE AND TRANSACTION INFORMATION

When you purchase Pipesology products, subscriptions, or services, we may collect or receive information relating to:

Payment-card information may be processed by third-party payment processors, app stores, or commerce platforms. Pipesology does not necessarily receive or store your complete payment-card information.

GOLF, PRACTICE, AND PERFORMANCE INFORMATION

The Pipesology app may collect information you enter, generate, or save while using the Services, including:

• Practice sessions

• Clubs used

• Distances

• Attempts

• Shot results

• Miss direction

• Strike or performance information

• OWNED and BUILDING progress

• 10-Minute Challenge results and history

• Round scores

• Hole-by-hole scores

• Fairway results

• Greens in regulation

• Putts

• Penalties

• Round history

• Shot Solver information

• Other golf-performance information you choose to record

LOCATION AND GPS INFORMATION

Certain Pipesology PLAY features may use your device location to provide golf-related functionality such as:

• Course and hole positioning

• GPS yardages

• Target distances

• Shot and course context

• Other location-based PLAY functionality

We request device permission before accessing location information where required by your device or applicable law.

Location accuracy depends on your device, GPS conditions, available course data, and other factors.

MICROPHONE, VOICE, AND SPEECH INFORMATION

If you use voice-enabled features such as ASK PIPES or other AI PIPES voice functionality, the Services may access your device microphone with your permission.

Voice input may be processed to:

• Convert speech to text

• Understand your question or request

• Provide AI PIPES responses

• Provide spoken responses

• Support conversational follow-up

We do not claim that your device is continuously listening unless you have expressly enabled a feature that clearly provides such functionality.

Future hands-free or wake-phrase functionality, if offered, will be subject to applicable device permissions and controls.

AI PIPES INFORMATION

When you interact with AI PIPES, we may process:

• Questions and prompts you submit

• Relevant Pipesology profile information

• Relevant golf, practice, equipment, or round context

• AI-generated responses

• Information necessary to provide voice or text interactions

AI-generated golf guidance may be based on information supplied by you, information available within your Pipesology account, Pipesology teaching systems, and available application context.

AI PIPES is designed as a golf information, coaching, practice, and on-course assistance feature. AI-generated responses may contain errors and should be used with appropriate judgment.

PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND MEDIA

If you choose to upload, record, or submit photos, videos, audio, or other media through a Pipesology feature, we may process that content to provide the feature you requested, including practice, challenge, replay, coaching, or other Pipesology functionality.

We will request applicable device permissions before accessing your camera, microphone, or media library where required.

DEVICE AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

We may automatically collect technical information such as:

• Device type

• Operating system

• App version

• Browser information

• IP address

• Device or application identifiers

• Crash information

• Diagnostic information

• Performance information

• Usage and interaction information

WEBSITE AND COMMERCE INFORMATION

When you use pipesology.com or purchase products from Pipesology, we may collect website, commerce, shipping, analytics, cookie, and transaction information necessary to operate our website and business.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use information to:

• Provide and operate the Pipesology Services

• Create and manage accounts

• Provide PRACTICE and PLAY functionality

• Provide AI PIPES functionality

• Calculate and display golf-related statistics and progress

• Maintain round and practice history

• Provide OWNED and BUILDING functionality

• Provide the 10-Minute Challenge

• Provide Shot Solver functionality

• Personalize the Pipesology experience

• Process purchases and subscriptions

• Fulfill and ship orders

• Provide customer support

• Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or technical problems

• Diagnose crashes and improve reliability

• Improve Pipesology products and services

3. LOCATION INFORMATION

Pipesology PLAY may require location access for certain GPS and on-course functionality.

Depending on the feature and permissions you select, location access may occur while you are actively using the app.

You may control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent certain PLAY, GPS, targeting, or course features from functioning.

Pipesology does not guarantee that GPS, course geometry, target distances, hazard information, or other geographic information is error-free.

4. MICROPHONE AND VOICE FEATURES

Voice features require microphone permission.

When you activate a voice interaction, audio or speech information may be processed by Pipesology and service providers necessary to perform speech recognition, artificial intelligence processing, and speech generation.

You may deny or revoke microphone access through your device settings. Doing so may disable voice functionality while leaving other available Pipesology features accessible.

5. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Pipesology uses artificial intelligence to provide certain AI PIPES functionality.

Information sent for AI processing may include the user’s question, along with relevant golf, practice, round, equipment, or profile context needed to provide the requested feature.

“Pipes” in the Pipesology app is an AI assistant that speaks in Pipes’ voice. Answers are generated by computer, not by Pipes in person.

To create Pipes’ answers and voice, your questions and the related context are sent to our AI providers, currently OpenAI (to generate answers) and ElevenLabs (to generate Pipes’ voice), or similar AI providers we may use in the future. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and data retention practices, which continue to apply to data already processed even if you delete your Pipesology account.

The app asks for your permission before your first question is sent to these providers. You can change this choice at any time in the app under Me > Settings.

AI PIPES is intended for golf-related help, including your game, practice, equipment, the course, weather, and food and beverage around your round. It is not a general-purpose chatbot.

If an AI response seems wrong or inappropriate, tap Report under the answer in the app or email fun@pipesology.com.

AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation.

6. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Pipesology, including providers of:

• Cloud hosting and databases

• Artificial intelligence services

• Speech recognition and voice services

• Payment processing

• E-commerce services

• App distribution and subscription processing

• Analytics

• Customer communications

• Email services

• Shipping and fulfillment

• Security and fraud prevention

• Technical support

These providers may process information as necessary to provide services to Pipesology and subject to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information:

• When required by law or legal process

• To protect rights, safety, security, or property

• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction

• With your consent or at your direction

We do not sell personal information for money.

7. APPLE APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY

If you download, purchase, or subscribe through Apple or Google, those companies may independently collect and process information under their own privacy policies.

Pipesology may receive transaction, subscription, entitlement, account, or technical information necessary to provide purchased services.

8. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

Our website and Services may use cookies, analytics technologies, software development kits, or similar technologies to:

• Operate the Services

• Remember preferences

• Understand usage

• Measure performance

• Improve products and marketing

• Diagnose technical problems

Your browser, device, or applicable consent controls may allow you to limit certain technologies.

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the Services

However, no electronic transmission, application, database, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Depending on the Services you use and applicable law, you may be able to:

• Change device permissions

• Control location access

• Control microphone access

• Manage communication preferences

• Request correction of certain information

• Request deletion of your account and associated personal information

Pipesology users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child in a manner that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps to address the information.

Pipesology is based in the United States.

Information may be processed or stored in the United States and other countries where Pipesology or its service providers operate.

Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.

15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services.

Pipesology is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information directly to them.

16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as Pipesology products, technology, legal requirements, or business practices evolve.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date.
